Diesel prices soaring throughout the nation

ABC Local -- FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Gas prices continue to climb throughout the nation and in the Central Valley. Those who rely on diesel fuel -- including truckers and farmers -- are seeing an even greater jump in price. According to the latest fuel gauge report by AAA, Fresno residents are paying an average of $4.23 for a gallon of diesel. That's a 42 cent jump from the same time last year.
Increasing gas prices are taking a toll on drivers, especially those who rely on diesel fuel. "It's getting hard, you just won't be able to stay in business. You can only give so much," said trucker Sam Hobbs.
The increased fuel costs are passed on to the consumer but not every industry can do that.

The agriculture sector relies heavily on diesel-powered equipment to care for crops, leaving many farmers with

There should also be a heat price map for diesel. The price of gasoline and diesel do not seem to be moving in tandem across all regions.

Diesel prices soaring throughout the nation And gas prices will continue to go up as the oil is refined into fuel and exported to other countries for additional profits. Big oil will sell fuel and natural gas on the world market for higher prices, there will be NO price reduction for the cost of fuel or natural gas IN the US. Barry will support natural gas and oil production for sale to help pay for his *spending gone wild* addiction. The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! Speculators, manipulators and the banks continue to unfairly and unjustly make the driving public pay higher prices at the pump for their benefit. How’s that ‘hope and change’ thingy working out for you today?
Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle is, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using ‘other’ forms of transportation or car pool to lower your cost for transportation.
The price of fuel at the pump is too high!

The best diesel price in Cincinnati metro area is 3.59.

Most are at 3.89 to 3.95.

share the wealth? You will be sharing yours. Everything depends on diesel. Without trucks nothing gets to the store. It's the cheapest to produce and yet the highest price. Consumer goods with just keep getting more expensive.

Diesel prices have been sky high for a long time. It never comes down but it sure can go higher and probably will.

Not good news for anyone as trucking, trains, shipping, farming, construction equipment and most major transportation uses diesel.

Put on your crash helmet. This is going to hurt.

The cost of everything is going up -- it's called inflation. It's what necessarily happens when the government prints money that has nothing backing it up. Obama's intentional strategies to raise gas prices to force Americans to turn to electric cars aren't helping, of course.
