Yes, it's just like how people say Obama was born in another country because he was born in Hawaii.

It is truly amazing how many people don't bother to read the entire article before posting about them.

More jobs lost to low labor costs and low restrictions on polluting. Then the Korea and Holland can charge the US for big profits and we pay again!

Why would Koreans go to Holland to make batteries? Cheap labor, close to resources and less enviromental regulation? The other reason may be more demand for electric autos in Europe.

I had to read it a couple times before I realized they meant the city, not the country. (I wondered why anyone would start a business in Western Europe--it's even more screwed up than blue states here.)

Electric cars are still not useful for rural areas. Also what will be the out come of the used batteries and waste form electric cars?

Horray for Holland, Michigan. Michigan was hit so hard by the economic loss of the auto industry....with all the GM factory closings... I am so excited for them to get this boost. I lived about 20 miles from Holland and it is beautiful and the infrastructure is great. Go on your vacation there for the Tulip Festival...very Dutch and it is beautiful.

If the Holland-built Korean batteries are lower priced than the American made ones, where is GM going to get its supply for the Volt?
